Try, TRY again....I got a Cricut Explore Air 2 for Christmas...and it’s the Martha Stewart Edition.
SO THAT’S ALL GREAT. But I CAN’T for the life of me figure out how to actually make things. EVEN WITH GOOGLE-ING. My faith in the Cricut machine is still strong, so my adventure continues. I did semi-successfully make the basic card that came with a tutorial. I apparently set the material incorrectly on the mat and the writing ended up in the wrong place. And then it was covered by the decorative cut out….so I threw it out and therefore have no picture for you. But I did manage to write with the Cricut on a birthday card I was writing. My regret though, was that I did not “prep” the pen first. You’ll know what I’m saying here: You know when you get a new pen that’s nice, however, before you can use it, you have to get the ink flowing. Some pens you even have to pick off a little plastic covering to use them. Slightly inconvenient and therefore, my card is not epicly perfect as hoped. Anyway, the card turned out okay and I’m still giving it. I’ve got more work to do before cutting something incredible. Stay tuned. If you have something you’re interested in hearing me talk about, LET ME KNOW. Also, I worked out again today. Day 3 of my resolution going strong. How’re your resolutions going? Comment below!
