Day 3: Journal says, “What’s on your mind this morning?”
Well this morning I got the call that I will in fact be receiving the long-term substitute job at my student teaching school for the spring semester. And my pay is much higher than I expected, which will be a real blessing when moving into our own apartment in May. I go back to Charlottesville on the 9th, starting my job on the 10th. My first week shouldn’t be too crazy… I’ll start off the week at home, going to some appointments, then I’ll pop by to say bye to my momma, get all my things together, and head up to Cville. Hopefully I can arrive without snow conflicts, unpack, prep for work, and still make it to baton practice since my girls have a contest on Saturday. I can’t believe how fast it snuck up on me this year. They will be fine. They always are… I am not too worried for my job. I’m familiar with the school and how things are done. I am still unsure who, when, and what I’ll be teaching, but I’m hoping I’ll have at least some guidelines as to what’s already been done. I’ll figure all that out soon enough. I’m not worried since I will try to just meet the kids and see where they are when I start off. Well my time is up. I feel like I could write for days but I guess then no one would read it. Happy Friday, folks! Please enjoy Channing Tatum bringing the snow this weekend, featured below as "Elsa."
