Hello people reading my blog. I'm starting a new morning routine with this new year and each day I'll write in my "journal" for five minutes and then I'll post it on here. This will truly be a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Enjoy.
Here’s my first journal. What should I write?
Things I’m grateful for…
I don’t have much time left, but cheers to the new morning schedule. May the odds be ever in my favor.
6am is happening tomorrow. I can do this.
So, 6 AM didn’t happen…
But it is not too late, friends. I have until Monday to get this right, since that's when I'll actually NEED to get up for my appointments.
Although today went much faster so 6:30 is seeming much more plausible.
Today, I think I’ll write about how important it is to keep friends close but yourself closer. And the fact that this five minute journal could be my blog...I’ll have to consider it.
Friends are great. If you have them...HA. Anyway, friends do right by you. They look out for you, you look out for them, you make sacrifices, you laugh, you cry, etc. etc. When it comes down to it (and by “it,” I mean anything and everything), your own opinion is the one that matters. If you don’t like your hair color or your body or what news channel you watch in the morning or the clothes you wear or how you talk or who you talk to, then you change it. You can only be better than yourself. No one can tell you what to do or how to do it or why to do it. I mean, they can, but only if you choose to listen to them. We all make decisions everyday according to what the latest survey said, but what about your own thoughts? Who’s really in charge here. HELLO, you are. News flash, people, it’s 2017 and in this generation, we do what we want to do because we wanted to do it and not because someone else said, “eh, not today.” We can all learn a thing or two from our elders, our friends, and people who we see viral videos of and say, “I’ll never be that stupid.” When it comes down to “it,” do what you want because in the end, it’s your life; make yourself happy.
